Make-Up Kit Must Haves

There are many things that a make-up artist must have in their make-up kits these are my must haves, faves and couldn't live withouts.

Number 1 Beauty So Clean
This is one of the most important things you need in a kit. It's a cosmetic sanitizer. Spray it on lipsticks, pencils, creams and powders. It won't effect texture, colour or pigment and it cleans the product.

Number 2 Gleam Cream
This is gleam cream by Illamasqua. It's great for bridal make-up, older models and for models with dry or bad skin. It brings back that youthful glow, works great under or on top of make-up.

Number 3 Disposables

This is soooo important. Bacteria grows in everything. A make-up artist should get rid of their mascara every month and if it's your personal one every 3. But the second you use the wand that comes with the mascara you can't use it on anyone else because the ward would have obtained bacteria, then if you put that back in the mascara, you've now transferred it to the product. DON'T DO THIS. Buy disposables, it might be expensive but it covers you, that way your model couldn't for caught anything from you. It's the same with lipgloss and liquid eyeliner, however, that's easier to apply with a brush.

Number 4 Weleda Skin Food

This is a face mask that you leave on. It's an extreme and intense moisturizer and hydrator. Great for men's skin as it's tougher and works well with stubble, for older and dry skin. It's made from natural products so i've never had an allergic reactions it's an amazing product.

Number 5 Eyebrow Cake
Number 6 Primer

Illamasqua do great primers. A satin and a matte primer. Get both. They are great and those are really the only kinds you will need. Use them under the make-up they are so smooth and they make the skin look and feel incredible. Laura Mercier also do a great primer.
