Must Have Make-up Brushes

If you're interested in make-up, or a make-up artist or just want to know what brushes to get this is for you. I'm a make-up artist, and these are my make-up brush must haves.

The first brush I couldn't live without is the MAC 219 Pencil Brush.

It's great for shading and blending on the lid. But the best use for it is contouring the socket line. Because of it's shape the point of the brush gets right into the creases of the eye socket. Don't hold the brush to close to the tip hold it nearer the end of the brush, and move in circular motions, try and keep the product in the socket line and blend up.

I love the Illamasqua eye brow brush.

This brush is quite stiff which makes making a straight line easy. It makes the brows look perfect. Teamed with Illamasqua eye brow cake you can't go wrong. Start by follow the bottom of the brow then blend the product up. Then do the same for the top of the brow and focus on the tip. As you get to the end use more product, use the tip of the brush to finish the brow.

The Illamasqua foundation brush is so soft that when applying foundation if done properly leaves no lines.

MAC's 227 Large Fluff Brush is great for contouring under the cheek bones. It's also good for applying highlighters to the cheek bones.

The Illamasqua blending brush 2 has so many uses.

You can use it with so many different products as it's so versatile. It can be used to apply creams and powders. Like the first brush don't hold too close to the tip and move in circular motions. It's great on the eyes where you want to blend colours together. It's also great with pencils, you can keep the harsh line but still blend the colour out or you can completely get rid of the line just keep blending.
